How to Make Real Celebrities from the Stars in Your Life
Life often feels like a movie, with each year adding drama, adventure, and romance to the script, and our nearest and dearest in the starring roles. Looking back over a year of photographs, we can always find a few special individuals that would definitely make the final casting cut.
These pictures can be used to create a fabulous “life story photo book” for the most special person (or people) in your life. By choosing just one picture to represent each year of their life and adding a simple caption (perhaps describing the location and date the photo was taken), you can create a “this is your life” photo book fit for a true A-lister.
Steps to success:
- Materials:
- Photographs of the star in question
- *Blurb tip: if you aren’t able to find a picture for every year (the early years of their childhood for example) think about using something to represent that period of time (e.g. a picture of the hospital they were delivered in, favorite toy, first school, popular items of the time, etc.).
- Tools:
- Bookify
- BookWright
Instructions:
- Start by collating the pictures you’ve selected to represent each year. Create a folder for them and rename each one so they’ll appear in the correct order—this will help you get a sense of how they will look and flow in the book.
- Next, select your book-making tool: Bookify
If you want to choose from a selection of stylish, predesigned templates, colors, and fonts then this is the one to choose.BookWright
BookWright gives you even more design control, and you can output both a print and ebook from the same file. - Import your pictures from the folder you created
- Choose your template—or select your own layout options
- Add captions (with location and date details if desired)
- Preview and proof your book
- Choose your paper and cover options—and place your order!
When you’re ready to present the star recipient with their “this is your life” book, you might want to consider one or all of the following:
- Fashion a mini red carpet for them to stand on while you present it.
- Have the theme tune to the famous “This is Your Life” show playing in the background.
- Have friends and family members act as paparazzi taking photographs as you present it.
