<br> It's tough times. The new world of the gig economy isn't as straightforward to navigate for me. I had a great time at my previous job, but I lost my dental assistant position. In the present, I have to work nights at the local machine manufacturing plant. It's almost entirely automated. The employees are on site in the working daytime as I and two engineers are the night-time crew. I have an emergency telephone number I can call in case there's an issue or machinery ceases to function. After that, I call engineers or the outside line for more engineers. I'm not doing much. There's no way they can create anything of value here.
