Early in his life, Rebel jumped the fence in his corral, ran away from his owner, and ran free for over four months. He lived on his own, and through his own instincts and knowledge, he survived and grew in grace, statue and stamina.



Based on a true story about a real Hackney Horse from the late 1950’s, the story captures much of the historical accuracy of the real event while re-telling the story of the “Phantom Horse” and the people involved in his capture.
