About the Book
On any given evening in the Detroit area, there are up to twelve informal Classic Car meets in local parking lots. Many of them have a D. J. providing music from the times that the cars were current.
I've spent the last three years photographing around 500 of these mostly unique cars and these are a representative sample of what I saw. Not all of the best ones. Not all of the unique ones. Not even one per-cent of the great cars that are on the roads daily in the Detroit summertime.
I hope that you enjoy seeing them as much as I enjoyed the people and their choice of Rides from another era!
