About the Book
This is a 200-page book with 500 photographs of Taiwan. There are photographs of small towns, big cities, mountains, plains, flowers, and people. Sections of the book are devoted to Chinese food and Chinese temples. Most photographs are not described, but there are some pages with text describing the sorts of photographs in that section of the book. There are not photographs of my family or friends, just general pictures of pretty things in Taiwan.

Attended John Burroughs School in Ladue, Missouri, the Johnston Center at the University of Redlands in California, and the George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis. As an adult, I have lived in California, Missouri, Taiwan, and Illinois. I have worked at the University of Illinois as a professor since 2001. I'm married, and have two sons.
