About the Book
"The human body was the focus of violence of the war in Colombia, and therefore it is of vital importance that the body also stand for the construction of peace. Corporeality, as it is revealed in the following pages expresses freedom, forgiveness and reconciliation by the bodies and faces of those who truly felt the rigor of military action. The memories marked on their bodies are traces of each memory and each feeling that these survivors have experienced. We are the fire, the air, the earth, and the water; we are both the living bodies and those that are no longer here, we may be the mutilated bodies and the disgraced bodies, but we are also so much more. We are the clean and honest bodies that mobilize this memory to declare: Never Again!"
