I live in the Philippines, where things are visually cluttered that you can never see or appreciate the whole in the mess of our skyline littered with billboards and electric cables; plus the Filipino penchant to add more because of "horror vacui" or our fear of empty spaces. So in a twist, this is the reverse of Gestalt Psychology where I see the parts representing the whole. Or, something else.
