Born in Sweden and raised in Northern Ontario, the artist made the decision in the early 1970's to move away from architectural studies to become a painter. The artist then embarked on a life long practise of hard-edge abstract painting, not from a Greenbergian point of view but from a conceptualist and process-based ideology.
