About the Book
a complete catalogue of all the paintings conceived and completed in 2016 by Canadian painter Jaan Poldaas. Born in Sweden and raised in Northern Ontario, the artist made the decision in the early 1970's to move away from architectural studies to become a painter. The artist then embarked on a life long practise of hard-edge abstract painting, not from a Greenbergian point of view but from a conceptualist and process-based ideology.
This book illustrates his most recent body of work exhibited in early 2017.
