On June 8, 2017, core team staff and their plus ones from National Center for Faculty Diversity and Development, flew in from all over the country and met at gate 12 in JFK airport excitedly waiting to board a non-stop flight to Athens, Greece. They could hardly contain their excitement as they tried to sleep on the overnight flight to Athens.
