This Color World Culture, Vol. 1 (African Art, Oceanic Art) is far beyond a regular coloring book. There are thirty-six pages full of images that are both culturally rich and stunning. There is a synopsis about the art forms included in the volumes, complete with a brief historical footnote under each image. Participants are encouraged to create cutouts, masks etc. with the images besides coloring.

About the Creator
Mrinal Mitra was born and had the education in India. As an illustrator, he has earned a number of prestigious awards both Indian and International and received honours for his outstanding artworks. Some of his recognitions include; The Noma Concours Award, Japan (twice), Illustrators Award, and Children’s Choice Award, India. Received honours from German Television “Transtel”, and Honorary Certificate from the Czech Republic and UNICEF, New York. Many of his talented artworks have been exhibited in countries such as; India, Japan, Italy, Czech Republic, and New Zealand. Mitra has designed and illustrated many trades and educational children’s books for both Indian Publishers as well as multinational Book Publishers around the globe. In 2011, a New Delhi-based Multinational Publisher published a set of 10 Art Books (KG- Grade eight). Recently published 15 Children's Art Books through CreateSpace, Amazon.com. Mitra lives in Canada and works in both Traditional and Digital Art.
