About the Book
"By plucking her petals, you do not gather the beauty of the flower" ( Rabindranath Tagore). This quote summarises this book: women are seen in arts as flowers, beautiful and supposed to be in this world to be admired. However, it is not always a beautiful life for some women. This book showcases the beauty of flowers and the struggle of women. Colourful photography of flowers delights the viewer, but on close inspection we notice that the flowers have been plucked... these are just beautiful dead flowers.
