About the Book
In May 2008 Ton moved from the Netherlands to Canada and he settled in a new place: the Town of Dundas.
His Dutch eyes saw a different landscape than he was used to see in his homeland. He discovered the history of his neighbourhood by photography. After a while the idea was born of making 101 photo's of Dundas.
One Hundred and One Highlights is a selection of the many images that Ton has made with his digital camera over the last year.

About the Creator
Ton De Kok
Dundas, Ontario, Canada
The Dutchman Ton de Kok (1962) has been infected by the photography virus since he joined the digital photography classes at the Dundas Valley School of Art in 2008. In the beginning he did not succeed in getting better photo's. They even got worse! The photo's improved when he understood how to use light in a composition by setting the aperture, shutter speed, exposure compensation, ISO and white balance. His work changed from taking to making photo's. Nowadays he lives with his partner in Canada.
