About the Book
This is one of a series of landscape photography books on red rock country that we are actively working on over a period of several years.
This book focuses on the spectacular Canyon de Chelly and Monument Valley. The amazingly beautiful red rock formations, canyons, valleys, desert, sand dunes, Pueblos, cave dwelling ruins, art, and cultures in these areas of red rock country offer virtually endless opportunities to create great images.
This book serves as a photography travel guide to some of the most beautiful locations in the southwest. The book's stunning images are accompanied by detailed information and tips on photo techniques, camera settings, framing, and composition.
The book is intended to be useful to multiple audiences including tourists wanting to make the most of the time available to them when visiting this area, photographers and artists wanting to identify the best locations to create great images, and those wanting to continuously improve their photography.
