About the Book
Story of a Renovation
The Roysdon House was built in 1905 in Red Lodge, Montana in the Historic Hi Bug District. The Roysdon House was a house in need of a savior. Gary was that savior, purchasing the house in 2005 and returning the Victorian two story home back to it's original character. The first floor had to be completely gutted and reconfigured.
Remarkably, the house had no insulation, not even in the attic over it's 100 year history. With temperatures in Red Lodge often hitting -15 degrees in the winter, the lack of insulation was surprising.
