I took these photos of people during the years from 2009 to 2015. The photos were shot in Chicago; Stockholm and Uppsala, Sweden; Paris and Nice, France; and southern California during a long period of economic recovery. My aim was to see what it looks like when people are out and about, getting together and enjoying themselves.
