About the Book
The second addition of Dolphin Strand Feeding contains new photographs taken at the same sight as the previous addition on Seabrook and Kiawah Island, SC. The original book was published in 2010. This edition contains new photographs taken in the past five years. Dolphin strand feeding is a unique behavior a group of estuary dolphin living in the area have mastered. It is a spectacular and rare event captured by the author in photographs. Together the Atlantic bottlenose dolphin herd a school of fish onto the banks, rush the shore, feed and then return to the ocean. You can experience this amazing and unique assault, which has been passed down through generations of lowcountry dolphin, through the beautiful photography in this book.
