I am an amateur photographer who in recent years has managed to escape to New York City for an annual photographic trip, either with or without members of my family. I find it is the only time I can concentrate on taking pictures. In the last 4 years the black and white world of Manhattan has been tempered with splashes of colour from visits to Italy.
