About the Book
This book presents a collection of black and white photographs of winter scenes taken on the south-western edge of the Cotswolds in the UK. The region around Wotton-under-Edge rises above the River Severn Valley and is directly exposed to the moisture-laden winds that blow in from the Atlantic Ocean and funnel up the Bristol Channel. In winter the Cotswold Edge, cut through by coombes and valleys with their soft contours and gentle folds, presents the photographer with stunning views that change from minute to minute.
