About the Book
The SCANDOM project involves the scanning and sequential collation of surfaces and textures selected at random. Using a portable office document scanner each scanned capture is digitally recorded, documented, and updated daily. Images are archived at 30cm x30cm, with each book volume consisting of 100 days of scanned images. (This is the 12th Volume) The collated body of work exists as an infinitely expanding archive of objects, surfaces, and textures that surround and confine us.

About the Creator
Benjamin West
London
My work examines our ever-changing relationship with nature, and investigates the consequences of human activity upon our surroundings. My projects explore and define the traces of mans economic, social, and political interaction within the fabric of the natural landscape. I am passionate about recording and documenting changing environments, with images invariably encoded with the symbols of human intervention.
