About the Book
In 2014 the East Kent Hunt began its 200th season. This book charts the hunt's history from 1814 until the 1960s. You will meet Selby-Lowndes, about whom it was said "When Harry was made a M.F.H. a good bargeman was spoiled!" as his language was so ripe as well as Old Norris the earth-stopper who persuaded his wife to suckle orphaned fox-cubs. Carefully researched this is the most complete history of the pack. The book is richly illustrated with photographs from the archives.
