About the Book
Lineman, otherwise known as power line technicians, are tradesman who construct and uphold electrical power transmission and power distribution facilities. The lineman occupation began in the United States in the 1840s when telegraph lines were set up across the country on wooden poles strung with wire. When shooting this project, photographer Jasmin Miranda was careful to maintain a safe distance from the work and took advantage of those moments when she could move in closer.
