About the Book
This is the only photo documentation of the studios and home of Mary Filer and Harold Spence-Sales. Their home was located in a converted Purdy’s Chocolate factory next to Choklit Park in Vancouver. Included are photographs of finished works, works in progress, and the unique studio setups of both artists. The social spaces within these studios where they entertained other artists from time to time are also contained in this book along with their extensive collection of art. All of the photographs were taken by Edward Peck and Phyllis Schwartz in the course of an afternoon visit . For more information on the photographers, please visit www.sassamatt.com.
