About the Creator
JAN ZAREMBA
Boston, Massachusetts USA
Born 1941 in Germany. Studied Sumi-e (Japanese Ink Painting) with Dr. Hisashi Ohta, a Living National Treasure of Japan. After Ohta's death, the widdow of his master studied with Zaremba for fifteen years. Taught Sumi-e at the Japanese Cultural Center, Los Angeles, for eighteen years. Since 2000 in Waltham, near Boston. Exhibitions in Germany, Japan, Mexico, Finland, Korea and United States.
