About the Book
All in all, Bixby Beauregard-Smith was a very happy four-year-old boy. He loved to run and to jump, and to splash in puddles, and to ride his big brother’s bicycle, and to smell his sister’s hair, and to bring his mother flowers, and to sit on his father’s lap, and to talk to Mister Jonathan, his very special friend who lived next door. But most of all, Bixby Beauregard-Smith loved to fly. Or, to be more exact, Bixby Beauregard-Smith loved to think about flying. Or, to be still more exact, Bixby Beauregard-Smith loved to think about trying to fly.
