About the Creator
Rob™ is a photographic artist living in the rural North-West of England. After leaving school, I studied graphic design before drifting into a career in engineering. A number of years ago, I picked up a camera again in order to break away from the rigid constraints and structure of the technical and back into something wholly more creative. My aim is to record the journey, the road trip, getting from A to B geographically, temporally or metaphorically, and the things I see there, using whichever technique that provides sense to that journey. Another recurring subject is what has been termed the “mundane” or “neutral”; those everyday things we don’t think to consider until we are made to stop and reflect upon their photographed image. Occasionally I'll even try different things. My work has been exhibited around the world, and is held in both public and private collections.
