About the Book
EAGLE tells with words and watercolors the story of a county's many places of interest beyond the well-known resorts of Vail and Beaver Creek.
Before skiers found its mountains, miners and homesteaders settled the Eagle River Valley and left behind a rich history to match the grandeur of the land. Beyond the urban centers with their impressive second homes and hotels, the county has a treasure trove of agricultural and mining lore.
This is a gift book for special occasions that describes local landmarks and related tales for all to enjoy.
