About the Book
Thanks to the positive response for my Flushing Archives photo gallery at wideimaging.com I was encouraged to put together this book. It captures the changes and consistencies of a great neighborhood that will always be my home town. These images were selected to call attention to those elements of community history that been forgotten or on the verge of being lost in a rush for development. It will be the ability to retain and build upon that history that will enable this community to realize its enormous potential.
