ohn Tona is a photographer and artist based in Brooklyn, New York City. Among other things, his photographs explore the consciousness of human nature through staged photos, social-documentary, pictorialism, as well as studio and candid portraiture. His most recent project, "A Vacant Self" is a disenchanted look at emotional chaos and sexual dependency in an effort to come to terms with and coalesce a fragmented consciousness under the precarious frame of pictorial narrative. John studied the one year conservatory for photography at the New York Film Academy.
