This book covers a four-week visit to California in April 2012 when we stayed on the UCSB campus in Goleta, adjacent to Santa Barbara proper. However, rather than taking the usual tourist shots I mostly ended up moving in close with my camera, focusing on local flowers and other photogenic natural objects. Also included are photos from a three-day trip to Yosemite and a series of pictures of dramatic clouds and other scenes taken from our plane window while traveling from and returning to South Africa.
