About the Creator
Walter Howor is based in the Montreal area and has been a worldwide adventure traveller, author, and photographer for over 20 years. He discovered photography to be one of his passions as he travelled at home in Canada and abroad, first through Australia and then around Southeast Asia, the South Pacific, South and Central America, the Caribbean, and Northern Africa. Southern Africa (South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Zambia), with its amazing scenery, abundant wildlife and welcoming people, was a photographer’s dream. In China, the “old” and the “new”, side by side, along with the old that is new again was especially enlightening! The Cook Islands offered a perfect escape – a time to relax and explore, all in a picture perfect paradise on earth! Returning to Southeast Asia, this time to Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, and South Korea, he was quickly reminded why this area is known as the land of smiles.
