I have studied fungi for over 40 years in Britain, Europe and North America and am the senior editor of the journal Field Mycology, published by the British Mycological Society. I have an interest in most agaric fungi but in particular I have studied the genus Russula for over 30 years. I am the author of some 12 field guides to British and American fungi.
