About the Book
In his first photographic monograph Mark R. Thaler explores the painterly and dreamlike quality found in layered multiple exposure images taken of drifters, beach dwellers, and Los Angeles landscape. Paying homage to the experimental works of the great Edmund Teske, this new portfolio of photographs is a portrait of Southern California light and its luminous inhabitants.
