About the Book
The purpose of this book is solving an issue about poaching elephants and illegal trading ivories. this issue has started in late 70’s because economy of Japan had been increasing and lots of Japanese bought ivories. Therefore a lot of elephants in Africa were killed, and population of African elephants significantly decreased. International ivory ban in 1989, and population had slightly increased in 2000, thought, past these days, Chinese economy has been increasing and the poaching and illegal ivory trading has been worse and worse. In addition, in the last few years demand has risen sharply in the United State. In fact, United States is ranked second place behind China as a marketplace for illegal ivory.
Finally, I hope we reconsider the value of other species life through this book.
