I was invited to visit Iran by the Turkmen Horse Breeding and Consulting Cooperative (THBCC). It's founder, Dr. Abdoljalil Ghiadi, is the head of a group of eight breeders and researchers involved in Turkmen horse breeding, pedigree research and genotyping. They have worked as a cooperative since 1998, centred in Jergelan, Iran.



This was my first trip to the Middle East and I loved Iran! The Turkmen people were so warm and welcoming. Their culture is unique and I would like to learn more about their amazing history. I hope to return soon.
