About the Book
Over the last 40 years, I have taken many thousands of photographs of passenger trains and stations in Nova Scotia.
Over this time, vast changes have occurred in passenger train operations. I have selected over one hundred and thirty photographs in an attempt to illustrate some of the stations, most of which have now closed and many of which have been demolished, and also something of the terrain through which the trains passed.
The book is divided into two sections - the first illustrates the history and the second illustrates the geography of passenger railways in Nova Scotia.
