About the Book
On a visit to Eastern State Penitentiary I tried to let my eyes do my thinking. When I got home, many of the pictures inspired words. The result is a meditation, perhaps a poem about freedom, but it won't get you marching; it has no drum-beat message. It seeks only to bind pictures to words and ignite further thought.
