About the Book
The stories of my children's ancestors - the Christensens, the Gaileys, the Duehlmeiers and the Muellers. They were Mormon pioneers, Indian fighters, Scandinavian immigrants, and Germans living under Nazi oppression in the midst of Allied bombing. They were entrepreneurs, missionaries, World War II veterans, and Olympians. They all had it harder than we do. And they all found a way to thrive.

I used to live in Geneva, Switzerland. But a person can only take so much of skiing the Alps, eating chocolate, and being a daytrip’s distance from Paris and Milan. So I moved to Dallas.
