About the Book
A photo history of Chenrezig Institute initially prepared to present to His Holiness the Dalai Lama, this book traces the development of this study and retreat centre from the heady days of the first Tibetan Buddhist meditation course in Australia, the 'Diamond Valley Course' in 1974, through to the glorious visit of His Holiness on June 16th 2011.
Compiled and laid out by Jo Newman (long time member and previous centre manager) and Kathy Vichta (one of the original donors of the land, a past director, and now coordinator of the centre's advanced study programme).
