Page 2: The phrase “a picture is worth a thousand words” maybe be overused and cliche, but it can be true at times. I believe this is one of those times. In these pages you will see happiness. You will see laughter, joy, and beauty. But you will also see poverty. You will see pain, degradation, and sorrow. The way in which these two generally supposed opposite ideas are daily juxtaposed in the lives of the people of Guatemala is one which many people must experience first-hand in order to fully understand. I will let these people tell you a story in their own way. They may not have words to give you, but they can show you.
