About the Book
These images represent a break from my main projects of urban landscapes, though many of them are actually hidden away in an urban setting. The aim of this project was a collection of landscape images, but attempting to break the traditional way that these would be portrayed in many cases, and create something slightly otherworldly, as if you have stepped on a piece of stray sod.
After some deliberation I have not included an ‘artists statement’ with each of these images. I hope, however, that you will make up your own stories surrounding, and consider the meanings and emotions that they provoke in you.
All of these images have been taken within Yorkshire, and as I have alluded to above many of them are in urban parks, showing that one does not need to travel far to find beautiful and inspiring landscapes.

I take lots of photos, and instead of printing them on prints I put them in books. They look nicer. Hopefully someone else will like them too and buy some books.
