About the Book
This book details mostly in pictures how I spent 12 months of spare time putting together a well-known BBC 'robot'.
I used 12 hot water copper cylinders, top and tailed and flattened out.
I was inspired to do this project by my youngest daughter who wanted to make a copper sculpture for a school project, combined with the fact that I always wanted one of these 'robots' the idea to make one in copper was like a 'light-bulb' moment.
