About the Book
Princeton University heavyweight crews tried for more than eight decades to win what has become the premier event in college rowing in the United States, the Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) Championship. In 1985, a mixed group of experienced oarsmen and spirited walk-ons took to the water under Coach Larry Gluckman, and prevailed. This is the story of that season.
