About the Book
This little photo book documents the behaviour of nesting moorhens on a greenfield site near my home. It is under threat from developers. As my personal protest I have produced this documenting the young wildlife that flourish on this part of the Leeds to Liverpool canal. Our lives would be much sadder without them.
As my own personal protest I have produced this and another little photobook documenting the young life along this section of the canal. I am no expert photographer, I only took it up in Oct 2009, and I don't know a lot about birds, but this has been an endearing experience that you will enjoy along with me.

Yorkshire England
Hi I'm a Scot, now living in Yorkshire. I retired from nursing a few years ago and now spend my time with my camera and my computer. Between the two I hope I produce some work that at the very least, makes someone smile.
