About the Book
To some, an eyesore, to others, a source of fascination and inspiration. To me, what is exciting is the potential of the space. Over the years local graffiti writers, explorers, film makers, photographers, skateboarders and travellers have inhabited or visited the building, the marks left are a testament to the desire for imaginative community space. The images were taken as part of a project with the People's Republic of Stokes Croft to highlight the amount of derelict, vacant and underused land in the area.
