Suchitra Vijayan
Yale / New York
Suchitra Vijayan has been working as a documentary photographer since 2005 documenting issues of migration and conflict. She is the recipient of numerous awards and her work has been exhibited widely. Her photo-essay Lives in Transition-Haiti is currently on exhibition at Rome Foto-graphia festival. She is also the founder of the Art and Advocacy NGO Lines of Grey. Suchitra is graduate student at Jackson Institute of International Affairs at Yale where she studies aspects of war and conflict socities . She is the Managing Editor for Photography for the Yale Journal of International Affairs.
