About the Creator
I am the two-time military veteran (Air Force Sergeant & Army Captain). I was looking for something to keep my mind active during my early retirement. I didn't understand all the tech stuff but discovered I had a knack for telling/writing stories. Call me a late bloomer. My mom was the country girl from Mississippi who had so many kids she barely knew what to do. I am the ninth of 14. Vera (#2) was my oldest sister, who liked to quilt. Mom never learned how to drive but took public transportation to work into her mid eighties. Detroit has cold winters but she liked getting out after a lifetime of staying home taking care of kids and grandkids. My mom's father was a Native American in the Mississippi Delta, who kept tack of all his off- spring during his life time. When mom left here at the age of 90 years she was the last of his 33. Vera became my biggest fan and my angel investor. You left too soon at 87 but I'm still shooting for the moon.
