This children's book is based on Dr. Long's interactions with his six nieces and nephew. Uncles and other father figures like him matter. As a child, Dr. Long did not realize how his love for drawing connected to career fields like engineering. So, he has tried to make the connection between art and STEM clear to youth in his family and the overall community.
