About the Book
What is so special about this book? While most works on Kyusho Jutsu focus on the practical application and theoretical foundations from an Asian perspective, the author attempts to build a scientific bridge between Eastern and Western medicine. The consideration of neuro-anatomy and neuro-physiology is of great importance in order to really understand the phenomenon of Kyusho Jutsu from a western point of view.
The author's perspective as a medical doctor opens up a well-founded explanation of what may lie behind the techniques of Kyusho Jutsu. After nearly two decades of intensive research, the book offers a subtle analysis of how so-called nerve pressure points interact with the nervous system. These findings are presented in a way that is understandable to the layperson without sacrificing scientific depth. The work is an important addition to his previous books.
The book also invites to critically question the subject and to gain an informed view of an often mysteriously presented art. You immerse yourself in the core of the „Bubishi."
