About the Book
In a self-imposed quarantine, I began a daily ritual of taking photos of my garden in 2020, the year when the pandemic made
its presence known in every corner of the globe. I found the coexistence between the delightful emergence of flora and the ever-
threatening global specter named COVID, truly a paradox. When that year had completed its cycle, I began the process of editing hundreds of photos and thought the idea of presenting a flower diary in juxtaposition to graphically depicted news articles would perhaps be a tribute to the year which will forever change our perception of how we must, and can, adapt to embrace
our ever-changing world.
