About the Book
The Clinic Cat is a story about an injured stray orange tabby cat who was brought into a vet clinic by a Good Samaritan. After undergoing several surgeries to repair his broken legs, his owner could not be found. As he continued to heal, the amputee worked his way into the hearts of the veterinary clinic staff who saved him and "Jamal" found his forever home.

Dr. Brandy Fay is a small animal veterinarian in her hometown of Chehalis, Washington. She graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007 with the intention to be a bovine veterinarian working exclusively on dairy farms. After a change of heart 6 weeks before vet school graduation, Dr. Fay decided to come back home to practice companion animal medicine. Dr. Fay, her husband Ted and their two kiddos live on the family farm in Lewis County. She proudly owns Newaukum Valley Veterinary Services and River Bend Pet Center, loves orange purring kittens, Reese's Peanut Butter cups and cherishes her clients and patients..
